The Application Review Process

Applications are evaluated on an ongoing basis by a dedicated selection committee. Applicants can expect to hear back about their applications within about four weeks. Most likely, applicants will receive a list of questions, points of clarification, and budget details, with the common goal of further developing and specifying the proposed project.

Each step of the review process may take some time, so time-sensitive applications are encouraged to be very thorough upon first submission, and submitted as early as possible. Any questions you have during the process can be emailed to [email protected].

If you are selected to receive a grant, you will be asked to sign an agreement with the conditions of your grant, including a request for blog updates to be published on the GUSF website. A GUSF staff member will serve as your point of contact throughout the project to answer any questions, brainstorm project problems, and assist you with the reimbursement process.
